Since today is the International Women’s Day, I am featuring Azhaa. I believe that she is an example of a woman who never allows society to dictate who she is and who will she become.

According to the infographic “Why ‘Me Time’ is so Important for Happiness,” having a time for ourselves reboots our brains, helps us unwind, improves our concentration, makes us more productive, gives space for self-discovery, allows time for deep thinking, aids in problem solving and enhances our relationships….
The British Association of Art Therapists defines art therapy as “a form of psychoteraphy that uses art media as its primary mode of communication,” (Frank, 2015, Huffpost). It uses the creative process of making art (such drawing, painting, playing musical instruments, dancing etc.) to express unspoken feelings and improve a person’s physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Sometimes, we will find ourselves in the middle of choosing between what we think is good for us versus what we think is right for us.
Seven years ago, I’m still blessed to have a third life and from this day forward, I will always cherish the life that God has given me.
